Z1 SD card removed repeating loop

Hello,

Ive got an issue with my Z1, when i insert an SD card the phone repeatedly tells me the card has been removed untill i remove the card.   This message loop continues for a few moments after removal then stops.

Had this issue for many months and eventually send my phone for repair by my banks insurance provider along with a cracked screen after dropping.  They replaced the screen but couldnt find any fault with the card reader although did see the issue of the card removal warning loop.

Ive tested with a few memory cards, all sandisk 8Gb(FAT) and 64Gb (exFAT) and i see the same issue.  One of the 8Gb cards isnt recognised and nothing at all happens however im sure it was a fake sandisk (was £1.99 from ebay).  it works in a PC but perhaps the phone feels its low quality.

Have tried both quick and full formats in windows, the phone has also had a full factory reset.

Any advise would be good.

Its not been an issue as the internal space has been enough but its starting to get full if i restore the backup onto the phone.

Getting nowhere sadly, nearly a week ago and have not had any response or comment except the auto response advising case number.   Ive sent an email back to that to seek any further information.
