Z1 Screen Touch Malfunction

HI Team, 

Need your help on this.

I just bought a z1 and iam having issues with my touchscreen. On the below side, the screen gets automatically clicked which resulted to phone acting self. 

I format the phone, regrettably the result is still the same

Note - Rcevied the phone back in August-2016, however didnt used it. 

Any advise would really appreciate

Does the phone has a protective case, film, glass? 

Settings > about phone > diagnostics > test > test touchscreen.

Thank for so much for your quick reply. 

the issue is that, It seems the phone screen is responding automatic as if somebody pressed the below screen permanent.

Did diagnosed as u said,..................however iam still having the same issue. On brighter side, It seems the issue got reduced less though. 

Any advise please. thank you

The phone doest have any protective cover/glass
