Hello,
does Z1 include S-Master amplifier for music or I have to wait until february 2014 for next flagship?
As I can see it neither record 4K videos as promised
Is this correct?
first of all, nothing was promised from sony. It was all rumors that started all the top specs. If it doesnt appear in this year's flagship then "hopefully" it will appear in the next one.
Never take rumors that serious, they are just rumors, a grain of salt....
and as for 4k video, its pointless to have in it in a phone this early. Nothing supports 4K at the moment, Not even Youtube supports it. No TV channels does, so having 4k video it is just going to eat up your phone's space.
I agree with him, nothing was promised, as far as 4K its just pixels count, smartphones have a quite small sensor so even if its capable of 4K dont' expect the same clarity as a Epic-M red dragon 4K camera
just like even if the Z1 its capable of 20mp pictures and has G lens technology it won't be anything close to a DSLR
however, I saw videos on youtube with Z1 4k tests, is that real? Fps is a bit slow, maybe jus processor is still to weak to handle 4k with at least 30fps?

S-Master

S-Master is revolutionary Sony® digital amplifier technology that allows for big, dynamic sound to be delivered in a sleek package.
Unlike traditional analog amplifiers, an S-Master digital amplifier uses less energy to produce the same signal. The increase in energy efficiency eliminates the need for a large heat sink and large power supply found in conventional designs.
In addition, S-Master digital amplifiers produce higher-resolution sound quality, monitored noise reduction and accurate sound reproduction.
I think it'll be interesting if Sony could incorporate Magnetic Fluid Speaker techonlogy on the next Xperia ( "Z2"? )

I have two senarios that I use my phone for music - headphone or external speaker system if I'm on the beach - both of these situations I can't think of anything else that I need - I hit play and I hear music
My Hifi system at home gets it's source from my lappy - I hit play and I get music - is there a whole thing I'm missing, I wish someone would explain this to me - and may I add my home system is huge, the speakers alone cost 1200 quid
I read about people wanting streo sound from their mobile phone - why ? what sort of sound field can you create with speakers that are 5mm apart - that is just stupid, it's like - why does my phone not have 5 speakers to support 5.1 dolby digital - why on earth would you even try
I need help with this to try and understand
I understand wanting to have 2 speakers on lets say the Xperia Z, as if you hold it with the right hand you might block the speaker, and if you are playing music while taking pictures, txting, etc
I don't understand why some user want super mega ultra bass
its just an smartphone not a home theater, lol
