I have a z1 and the imei is all zeros how can i get my imei number back i have a copy of the number

That sounds strange. Have you tried to run a software repair using PC Companion to see if this can help? If same behaviour persist after a software repair, I suggest that you visit nearest service center to have your phone examined by a technician. You can contact your Local support for information about nearest service center and/or how to proceed with this in the best possible way.

I tried a repair but spcc: says your ip address is not allowed to update /repair brown phone/tablet.

sony update engine faliure error 0x0000044c

i have no idea what this means ?

That is probably because PC Companion cannot read your IMEI-number. I suggest that you visit nearest service center to have your phone examined by a technician.

good news i manged to update phone after reinstalling sony pcc for a third time updated to lollypop and reinstated imei number only problem now is screen flikers which is why i tried to update in the first place:smileysad:
