Z1 Compact Screen Cracked

Hi, 

Annoyingly my screen appears to have cracked, it wasn't dropped etc. It actually looks like its cracked from the inside. There are no crack scratches on the front of the screen. I mean when I roll my finger over the cracklines it is still very smooth. 

However I can no longer register my finger movements, so the phone is useless at the moment. 

Was thinking of sending the phone so Sony can take a look at it, would this be covered by their warranty etc?

Or should I just cut my losses and get a new mobile? I really like Sony phones, so I'm considering a Z3. ALthough ideally I'd like to get this phone fixed if possible.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Only your Local support can determine if its covered under warranty, you could post pictures of the screen here for others to see if you want to.

Thanks, the actual cracks are hard to see and I'm not sure that they'll show on any pictures. I've seen many people use their phones with cracked screens. Screens that look a lot worse than my phone for sure. 

The cracks look like spider legs and you have to hold the phone at an angle to actually see them. 

Will try local support.
