z1 compact is dead

Please help i went to put my Z1 compact on charge and few minutes later went to go check if i had any new messages and my phone was just dead does not want to switch on or reboot with the power volume option and even if i put it on charge there is no red light nothing my phone is just dead please anyone HELP....

Welcome to the community,

Try holding down the Power Button and the Volume  + button for around 15 seconds, once done put the device on charge for around  an hour.

If the device does not power on, do as @uliwooly has suggested and test another charger.
