Hi,
I would like to know the details and make of the Z1 compact glass.I got this Phone a week back and it is superb but the only problem is its display its getting more scratch and dust than old phone which is more then two year. Its not handling issue as i dont carry keys in my pocket or any other sharp objects. I am very dissapointed by sony if this is the glass quality for such a good smart phone or the handset which i got is having defects.
Kinldy revert,
Sachin
There is an anti-shatter film. You can replace it if it is scratched up. (All xperia phones have that, except the Xperia Z2)
But it shouldn't be scratched or dust at all. This phone is Water and dust resistant (IP55 & IP58).
Okay i got that i was worried that within a week if this is the condition what will happen down a month or so. This anti shatter flim can be replaced at sony care and is it chargeable or free within warranty period.
I didnt got your staement "But it shouldn't be scratched or dust at all" can you explain in layman term.
Thanks
Okay even i belive that but my phone is having scratch on it even on the back i keep it on my work desk or carry in my pocket and hardly there is travelling invloved , that made me worried as all smart phones have this property. So is it that this particular handset is having the problem.
Also any idea how to get minimise the finger prints on display as my hand is oily so i got lots of them on my handset.
I have fitted a decent quality screen protector to my Z1c from the first day.
I also plan to fit one on the back as soon as the company I use release the back SP.
I use Expert Shield screen protectors - but there are plenty of other decent ones - pay a few quid for a branded on rather than some cheap £1-2 from Ebay.
