z1 battery drain + overheat+ general irritating issues

Hello,

I am new to these forums so feel free to direct me in the right place.

I have had the Sony Xperia Z1 since March 2014 and the battery has been pretty decent considering; however all of a sudden within the last week, the battery does not last longer than FOUR HOURS. It is totally unbearable. I had it on charge from 5am till 10am and it had charged only 60% in this time. I haven't swapped chargers or dropped it or anything. I haven't updated it too recently either.

It also heats up something CRAZY, not just when it is on charge either... sometimes it is just in my bag, totally unused, no open apps... and I pick it up and it is boiling hot!?

It's getting to the point where I can put it on charge and the charge actually goes down, even though the charge bolt is still showing and the charge light is on!? What the heck is going on?

Also on a side note my SMS isn't working properly, I send a message and it just sits there with 'Sending' under it and never actually sends. Or if it does send, it sends like, 3 hours after I actually hit the send button. I'm also getting messages through really late, getting them through twice, and the notification bubble with the (1) in it when you receive an undread SMS WILL NOT GO, even if there's no messages in my inbox.

Yet another issue is the camera, which decides to tell me 'camera not available' only after I've taken a photo, which is extremely annoying.

These things, among a lot of other issues are seriously irritating me; I'm getting to the end of my teather with this phone. Can anyone help or direct me in the right place??? The phone is only a year old, surely it shouldn't be on it's last legs already especially seeing as it was working just fine a week ago??

I actually don't own a functioning PC or Laptop at the moment so that's not really an option for me...

Did you reset the phone since you got it. If a pc is not accessible you can try resetting with clearing the data, for now, but i suggest the same thing that
