I've got a problem that has started in the last 24hrs.
I put my phone on charge at about 64% and left it over night to charge, when i got to it this morning it showed 70%. Didnt think too much about it and used the phone for a little bit. Now its at 61% and I put it on change this morning and when I had a look at it at lunch time it was still at 61%.
Thought maybe the charger is faulty, so I tested with a Nokia charger, and the apple Ipad charger. Still my phone is not charging.
When the phone is connected, I get the message "charger connected" but I dont get the charging lightning next to the battery and the home/lock screen doesnt say charging XX% like it normally does. However when connected to the charger I do not lose charge. when I disconnect from the charger i get the default sony message "! Waterproof" pelase close the external connectio covers. So the phone knows about the charger but doenst charge.
So natually my next step was to Factory reset the phone - didnt help
then I connected it to Sony PCC and did a firmware update - followed the steps - now on the latest firmware and still the same problem.
Tried the Power button + up arrow - no deal still wont charge.
Went into safe mode and still wont charge in safe mode either.
Phone has no problems doing tasks via USB, so USB works - doenst charge connected to PC either.
Did a battery diagnostic and it says battery is Good.
I'm stumped. I think there is something physically wrong with it.
Phone is about 4-5months old so still under warranty. Been working like a trooper until yesterday.
Any help?
