Z LTE normal battery life? HELP, need some comparison.

Is it normal for Xperia Z LTE battery to drain 10% after 20-30 minutes of messaging and mild browsing?

My phone is brand new, just 2 weeks old. I did a 3 hour charge with the power off when I first got it, so that should have calibrated the battery reading. Auto sync data is off, stamina mode is on with only Whatsapp and BBM as exceptions, email sync is manual only, auto brightness adjustment is off, brightness is set at around 70-80%, BRAVIA mode is also off and I turn my phone off at night.

I usually turn my phone on at 9AM, I use the phone for messaging and browsing sporadically throughout the day, I use Whatsapp and BBM a normal amount (only when I need to). I browse gaming websites for several mintues on red lights during travel (mobile sites, no video) , yet it is during this time that the battery drains fast. By 6PM my phone can have between 20-40% battery left.

Is this normal for a Z LTE? How long does your your Xperia Z battery lasts (3G or LTE)? What settings do you use? Cuz my last phone, a Blackberry Torch has an excellent battery life, so this is a bit of a shock to me.

LTE will drain your battery a LOT FASTER than 3G or H+, even more so, if LTE coverage its spotty, if you are just texting (SMS) disable your data; now, if you use BBM and/or whatsappp well this apps need to be online all the time, and this will drain your battery faster, even when you are not using them; playing games will drain battery even faster; your battery life its normal, stay away from battery apps, taskillers, taskmanagers, etc it will make it worse and create other issues.

So that's normal? Anobody else care to post their Z battery life? I need to know for comparison.

Yeah, I did search, not many answers though. What's your battery life's like? Is it like mine? Lasts 1 day and a half?

My Xperia's battery last about 8 hours but I use my phone or phones quite a bit and sync a lot of accounts and data, plus take pictures, videos, play games, so its ok.

Also i had noticed the phone heats up pretty much when in 3g or H+. Is this normal? Do you guys have the same issue?
