Xperia ZR UK Release

I have been a Sony Xperia user now for quite some time & was impressed with the specs of the Xperia Z, but I felt that the handset was a little too large for my liking. I read up on the Xperia ZR (announced in LONDON) and was very, very impressed, especially when it showed as "coming Soon" on the UK Sony Webiste. Since then, I have been checking on a daily basis to find out when the ZR would be officially released in the UK.

Unfortunely, I checked in on the ZR yesterday & noticed that for some reason, Sony have now taken this phone off the UK website (hence my question here).  I note that whilst the ZR is now NOT showing as "Coming Soon" or "new" on the UK website, the accessories such as the Charging dock & replacement battery still show as "Coming Soon".

Can someone, preferebaly a Sony Representative, tell me if the ZR will be available to UK users & a likely release date?

I can honestly say that I have had Sony products for the vast majority of my life and I have never been disappointed by any of the products I have owned or used. I am upset and it feels like this phone (Xperia ZR) has been mis-advertised, which is not best business practise, especally from Sony.

I have been literally holding my breath for this phone to become available in UK so I can order it from an online retailer to my country - Romania. I think this is the perfect phone for me. If somehow, I won't be able to get a hold of this, I will be very disappointed. This phone could have won me as a loyal customer for Sony.

Unfortunately we don't have any local release information, so to get a correct answer, you should give the UK support a call.
