Hello,
I am on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. On Tuesday I switched carriers from AT&T to T-mobile. All I did was swap the SIM cards and install the T-mobile Visual Voicemail app and MyAccount. I removed the AT&T Visual Voicemail and MyAT&T apps. Since then the phone has been restarting at random intervals. I tried removing and reinserting both the microSD card and SIM card into the phone. I am not entirely sure what is causing this issue but this is the only change I made to the phone. Before this I did not have the issue at all on AT&T. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Some members have reported this as been a sim card error and some have said that after performing a system repair it has fixed the issue - So I'd check the sim card is free of defects and clean of dirt etc - and if that fails to resolve the issue I'd perform a system repair then as a last resort it would be having it checked out at a service centre
yeah, the first thing I tried was remove the sim card. It has those standard 3 scratches on it from putting it into the SIM slot. I did wipe it off but the issue still remains
I'll back up my phone and do a system repair tonight.
I did a full restore on the device and got a new SIM card from T-mobile. The phone is still rebooting randomly. Does anyone else have any other input?
Thanks

No promises...but try this... under settings, go to wireless & networks > mobile networks > acess point names, select t-mobile. Select APN protocol and change from IPv6 to IPv4.
