guys anyone have call problem on xperia ZL?my prroblem is when i call someone she can hear my voice but i can't hear any voice of her.after restart the phone then it become normal we can hear both sound?so what is the problem anyone can solve it?pls help>>
yes, i got this too.
you need to turn on the loudspeaker to hear the other side.
hopefully this is a bug.
so is this the speaker problem or the software prablem?does anyone here can give use an answer?please>>>
I think this is a software problem as a lot of us get the opposite, sometimes we can hear them clearly but they can't hear us.
Hopefully both these problems will be fixed in the next update, or we will all need to exchage our phones as it is pretty useless otherwise lol
Please try to uncheck the 'Microphone noise suppression' in calling settings
This is a problem with his speaker, not his microphone, that's why I am guessing it's a software problem.
As with the microphone noise suppression, someone has already confirmed in another thread that that still didn't solve his problem of not being able to be heard on the other end.
if use SUS software repair will it solve the problem?anyone try it?
Please let us know if this remains after software reinstall.
i had a similar problem. When i was in was in call the person that was to the other side don't hear me but I hear he and often the call fall down. I did a back up of the phone e then I restore the factory default. Now the phone it's ok
My phone's front microphone will cut off at any time the Noise Suppression feature is turned on. I can be starting a call (out going and incoming) and even turning the NS on during a call.
-edit- I should point out that if I start a call with NS turned on, I can hear the other person but they cannot hear me. If, during the same call, I go into the Call Settings and turn noise suppression off, then the caller on the other end can hear me.--end edit--
Information about my phone:
Sony Xperia ZL (C6506)
Purchased directly from Sony Store
Build number: 10.1.A.1.434 (build the phone shipped with)
There is a new system update 10.1.1.A.1.253; though I am usually hesitant to install new builds/updates until they have proven to improve functionality. Had too many updates from other companies actually ruin my experiences while they attempted to fix something I considered trivial.
Does anyone know if this firmware update addresses this issue?
