I love my two day old Z3 for T-Mobile but it seems like there's a glaring issue that's really gotten my attention.
When using the phone on a strong 4G signal and fully charged battery, it takes an excessive amount of time to connect to an internet page and fully open (Dolphin Browser) . Also have issues on email downloads and opening RSS feeds.
This exceptional phone should blow away my Galaxy S3 but the Z3 is slower than any other smartphone I've used.
Hoping that someone else is experiencing the same issue and that Sony has a simple fix.
Thanks in advance for any feedabck that you can pass on my way!
Regards,
DavidT
Hi DavidT,
Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.,
With the information supplied, I can advise that this may be due to Internet settings, I suggest giving the following a go first.
Menu > Settings > More > Internet Settings > Accept Disclaimer > Choose Network
Once done, see if the issue has been resolved.
@DavidT,
Hey David, you might want to also check any apps that you have installed... anything that would be firewall or VPN related? I know that the NoRoot Firewall uses a VPN tunnel to encrypt and secure your connection. VPN's will inherently slow your connection down to some degree.
Have you attempted to factory reset your phone?
I love my three week old Z3 but a couple issues have risen with it and I'm looking to see if anyone else had had these issues, along with a possible fix.
The first week, I would experience an onsreen message saying "no client' , whether I was connected on WiFi or cellular. That went away as mysteriously as it showed iup but now I have random messages that say "Please logout and Login again"
I have no idea why this is happening, as all my email accounts are working properly. I've checked and rechecked my accounts, Twitter and nothing is out of order.
Thanks in advance for any info and or a resolution that can be shared.
Regards,
David T.
Based on your old post
it could be a network coverage issue, it will be wise to get a brand new NANO SIM card.
You could also
1. boot on safe mode
2. remove the google account > restart the phone > re-add the google account
3. repair the phone with PCC
4. contact your local Xperia Care
Bridge (for Mac)

Hello all,
This is a repost of an earlier message that's disappeard, so sorry if you responded!
My problem is that a few times during the day I'll be using the phone for reading feeds or working in apps and I'll get a message on the screen saying "Please logoff and logon again". Nothing on the phone or on emails or apps seems to be disconnected, so I don't see a reason for the message.
Anyone have similar issues and or a fix, please let me know what you've found.
Thanks in advance for any assistance that you can provide.
Regards,
David Tanner
