Xperia Z3 screen mirroring - Sony

More problems with the Z3.
So in addition to no tethering ability the Xperia range doesn't screen mirror either. Tried doing it on a kindle fire stick, I have an image but no sound. Same with my friends Z1. The Samsung galaxy my friend has works fine though.
Any ideas?

Have you unlocked the bootloader? are you trying to play copyright protected material?

Hiya, no I haven't done anything like that. It's not copyright either, anything from a video I've taken to you tube or xbmc.

Has this issue been solved? I am having the exact same problem. My partner can mirror his Samsung on the firestick but I cannot with my z3 compact

And to add, I have done a factory reset which has resulted not being able to stream at all
