Xperia Z3 back cover elevated itself

So I have been using my Z3 for about a month now, I recently noticed that my phone doesn't lay flat on the ground, it wobbles a little, then it starts to worry me, under close inspection, the back panel between the power button and the microSD card slot was elevated up, I am really concerned about it, is it because the overheating of the phone? The adhesive is melted by the overheating of the phone? I am scared that the phone will loss its waterproof ability…

Sorry its like a cut made for the camera and flash. Look closely you should see the edges of it

Sorry @Curnow1 now i understand what you mean......its like a possible cover....maybe a thin glass protector, well spotted my friend :smileysmileythumbsup:

Lets wait to see if Pz3004 answers re if he has fitted a cover or glass protector.....looking at various pictures of the back of the Z3 this 'cut out' is not apparent......unless they changed it from the first models, did some have glass backs then they were changed to plastic

No i dont think they changed it. I got my z3 2 weeks ago brand new . I was getting it earlier but the shop sad they are waiting fir sony to send them. So ita brand new and i have no cut. Also dandy, can a crack make a phone non waterproof?

In that case i would definetly say it is the thin glass protector that has came loose....may have been fitted too tight against a top or bottom edge..phone heats a bit thru use, glass expands & the first place it would start to 'pop' up is the area described......what do you think?

Im not sure, did you reply about the back or the question i asked is the phone waterproof with a crack.
Btw if Sony would change the back into plastic then i want a free replacement.

I think you are totally correct. to be honest i knew something is wrong when i looked at the camera and the cut for it.
