Hey Everyone,
What to do about the problem given in the subject?
The Wifi keeps dropping after a few minutes. It works fine for a few minutes, stops working for a while, then starts working again. The wifi DOESN'T disconnect. It does that in connection.
The router is fine. All the other cellphones work. Plus, the range is also less.
Help, please.
Nothing given here works. It is like the wifi is working perfectly fine. All of a sudden, it stops working. It keeps connected but the arrows besides the wifi signal keep showing and disappearing, and the browsing stops. Then, after just around 8-10 seconds, everything returns back to normal. This issue is more prominent and occurs most often in Lollipop; lesser in 5.0 than in 5.1. And even more less in 4.4.4, so I have downgraded my cell now. But the problem still persists. This is irresponsible attitude from Sony to be honest. Their phones have the stupidest of problems, one can't even image would exist. They rush their software updates without trying to put out a complete bugfree software.
The points given in this link are general points. They don't specifically deal with the WIFI dropping problem. Sony keeps ignoring the users' problems. Many users have mentioned this problem on the internet and no solution has been put forward.
Sony should have worked on this and fixed this issue in a software update. The over heating of the Xperia Z2 is another problem that should have been found and delt with even before the release of this phone. What can one expect from any other Sony phone if the flagship Z series phones have such problems.
Disappointed - absolutely disappointed!
