Xperia Z2 Lag in games (23.4.a.1.264)

Hi, I am having lag issues with the Xperia Z2 since January 28th. I updated from 23.4.a.1.232 to 23.4.a.1.264 on January 5th, but I have no had these issues until January 28th, so I don't know if the update is the responsable.

I tell you what I have tried and what may be or not be (in advance, sorry for my english):

I have booted the phone in safe mode and is still laggy, so it is not caused by a third-party app, it would be a system or preinstalled app

I did factory reset and was not solved, and it cant be an app update because after a factory reset all apps are outdated

I performed a software repair with PC Companion, but it was not solved again

Also I have noticed an increasement of RAM. Before I had 1.7 GB aprox. of free RAM even with Facebook app. Now I have 1.4-1.6 GB free without Facebook app and others. I dont know if there is a process in background which causes lag, but if there is, it is very hidden.

I sent the phone to Sony and they checked the hardware and software. The waterproof was deficient, so they fixed it. And they also said that there was slowness in the menu and that it was solved, but the lag persists.

When perceive I the lag? Specially while playing  a 2D game, which Has NOT been updated, and other games and tasks, so the game is not the responsable. I record the game with the screen recorder, well, I did, because since January I am not able. Before, with Lollipop, it did it great. How can a 3GB RAM and 2.3 GHz quad-core run a 2D game with lag while recording and sometimes while not recording also? I know it can support these tasks, it has done it while many time. So the possible causatives are:

Firmware, but 23.4.a.1.264 worked 20 days aprox well;

Hardware, but I dont believe it because it was checked by Sony and has worked well until January;

Software, maybe an app, but lag persists in safe mode and also after factory reset, with apps outdated, versions which had no lag;

¿Malware? I doubt it after all performs and analysis I have done, if there is, it may be in a different partition of Data or System/OS, but I dont think

Also a fact: with "Disable Hw supperposition" in Developper Settings the phone runs better, but not like before.

After this Extra-Long text I would be grateful if anybody helps me because I really need help after 3 months. Thanks in advance

Here are some screenshots of my phone partitions. I really dont know what causes the lag, maybe hardware, maybe software... So a possibility is a virus. Do you see anything weird? Screenshot_2016-05-01-12-51-16.pngScreenshot_2016-05-01-12-51-25.pngno Screenshot_2016-05-01-12-51-37.png

@uliwooly

Well, I performed yesterday a factory reset and I did not restore anything: no wifi, no google account... but the same. Tomorrow I will send it to Sony (again), other 3 weeks without my Z2 :'( I hope it will be solved.

Today I have received the phone from Sony, that was repairing it by the second time, and it is not solved. Any ideas?

Here a list of things that are NOT the causes, I have checked they are not the causes because I have used another Xperia Z2 to compare it and mine:

-It´s not the firmware.

-It´s not the hardware.

-It´s not any third party app because it is not solved in Safe Mode.

-It´s not the game.

-It´s not a virus.

I have tried in safe mode, a factory reset, a software repair, even send it to repair two times... and the lag is still. Before last days of January my phone was great, but now it works slower. Maybe the cause is a server of an app that is in background? I really don´t know, I have discarded all of these possibilities by testing and testing more and more. Any ideas? I am despondent, it is happening for 4 months :´(

The phone has been repaired the third time, they have also replaced some parts, like battery or screen, but the issue is not solved, so I think it is not a hardware problem. I have another Z2 with Lollipop with number 23.4.A.1.200, an older version than my 23.4.A.1.264, and it happens too. When I had this version in the Z2 that is updated, I had no problem, so I think it is not a OS problem. The problem persists even in safe mode, so I think it is a system app.

Do you have any ideas please???:smileysad:
