Xperia Z2 Compact - we want it :D

Hi Sony,

We want the Z2 Compact, because that would be awesome. No more flash bleeding on pics, a glass (or metal) back and a 1080p screen. Waterproof. We would love it.

But here we need a medium sized flagship phone with 4.7inch (720p) which satisfies in every aspect I hope many will agree to this and many wont. Please have you say

It simply seems. 5,2" is too big. So make the Z3 smaller, 4,7-4,8".

But the Z2-Z3 Compact should not be bigger that 4,3".

Perfect would be a 4,0" Display for the Z2 Compact.

127x65 is big enough and thats still not compact. Compact is a phone size like 124x59 like the Iphone5 or the Galaxy S4 mini. That phones has the perfect size for wearing in your jeans for all day use.

With 4,5" or even 4,7" the phone size is getting too big, then don't call it compact.

Accordingly to gsmarena.com:

z1 - annouced and released on september 2013
z1 compact - announced and released on january 2014   (4 months between them) 

z2 - announced on february 2014... released in april 2014

...with this time frame z2 compact should be announced around july and released after IFA in berlin?

Don't know if i can wait that long... 

I would buy a z1 compact in the meantime but that bleedy flash kills z1 compact completely.

I also vote for main flagship to be 4.7-4.8 and then other variants of that. I think we need something like:

4.3" - Z3 Compact

4.8" - Z3

5.3" - Z3 Max/Whatever

~4.3" and ~4.8" have already proved themselves as good sizes. I think the 4.8 would be the mainstream that suits most people. I have Z2 now and I would swap it for 4.8" one.

Simple concept, 0.5" difference between adjacent models, nice and clean

z2 in my opinion is just 2 big. the best size nowadays is around 4.7" ~ 4.8"

Altough i dont like iphones and APPLE in general, there's a reason iphone 6 will be 4.7". APPLE knows what customers want.

It's depends somebody want 4.5 somebody 4.3 somebody 4.3 mychoice it will be 4.5 inch but it's same z1 compact dimensions

Hi, ive been using xperia S for the last 2years and totally satisfied with its performance. Good job Sony! and keep it up.

Planning to replace with Z2 but quite uncomfortable with the size, is there any compact version of Z2 planned to release?
