Hey everyone,
I was attempting to make a call earlier when my phone froze and just shut off. It then kept rebooting over and over and wouldn't actually start. I tried hard resetting with the red button and also holding both the power button and volume (+) button which did not fix anything. I then tried holding the power button and volume (-) button which then seemed to mess the whole phone up since now it doesn't respond to anything. If I plug it into the wall charger (I've tried different chargers), it doesn't seem to indicate that it's charging (no LED light), hard resetting doesn't make the phone vibrate three times, etc. However, if I plug the phone into my computer and hold the power button for a few seconds, the computer recognizes that it is plugged in but states that the USB device isn't recognized and has malfunctioned. Has anyone run into this problem and can offer any advice?
Thanks
Remove the SIM and SD cards > connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2-3 hours > report back.
Hey uliwooly,
Thanks for the response. Should anything be happening after I hold down the power and volume (+) for ten seconds?
After letting it charge for a few hours, the phone now turns on but is still stuck in a boot loop. I tried hard resetting it and it's still stuck...
Press and hold the power button until the phone turns off > on your computer > run PCC and follow the steps to repair the phone > leave the phone off > then connect the phone whenever you are asked to do so
