Xperia Z1s charging LED problem. (not about changing it's color)

Hey all,

   Just got my Z1s today. Love the phone. I see an odd problem with the front LED light. According to the manual, while charging the light is organge, green when fully charged, and flashes red while low. While it's plugged in and charging (orange) and you look at it from any angle other than the direct front, the color looks green.

That's odd, restart your phone and check again

Tried it already. It's the design. The LED is on the top right of the z1s handset (where the orginal z1 had its camera), where on the regular z1 it was in the device earpiece. Just looking at it from different angles while its charging you can see it looks like both (orange and green) are lit up at the same time.

I'm noticing the same problem too! Could it be that the LED on our phone wasn't accurately installed? If that's the case, we need to ask for an exchange

We don't have Z1s on our market so i can't test this myself but i'll forward this and check if it's normal.

Both the orange and green LEDs are lit up at the same time. It's obvious in a dark room with the phone plugged in and charging. Let the light of the LED reflect on a surface, you'll see 2 colors at once.

Z1S should be 99% identical to Z1. It's the US version of it for a specific cellphone carrier (T-Mobile)

Can confirm, my Z1s also shows both green and orange LED's when charging. Makes it difficult to determine charge status without looking at the phone straight on.

Beth the LEDs are in 2 totally different places in the Z1 and Z1S. So that 1% that isn't identcal completely changes the phone when it comes to this issue lol.

I think this should be stickied to the top. So far we have a few people with this issue, bound to have more. Better to have everything posted (updates on the issue etc.) all in one spot.
