Xperia Z1 Physical Hard Reset Button FOUND

Xperia Z1 comes with a Physical Hard Reset Button, just noticed.

so How to hard reset Xperia Z1 ? just Press and Hold down OFF Button with a tip of a pen or a similar object for 3 seconds.

my z1 freeze and cant pick up calls all of sudden...have to press the red button as shown by u then only the phone can restart,,,.omg.. thanks..

I forgot my pin number on the unlocking screen to get in my xperia Z1 and now I can do nothing to it, only turn on and then he asks me for pin or I can only do emergency phone calls. Any way I can reset from factory? Thanks

By mistek i was activated security code,and now i cant access my xperia z1.

 can you give me some suggesion to factory reset or reinstall software by external buttons

Can I either use the power button and the volume up to hard reset the device or it can just done by pressing the hard reset button?
