Xperia Z1 not working after Lollipop update
HI,
Well i got notification for Lollipop update & started with the updation. Since then my phone got switched off & has not started yet.
Its only showing blank black screen with network & wifi bars, time, battery life icons. The touch has stopped working, The only button working is
of switch off or restart. For these I am able to select with the touch, which means the touch is working but due to update the phone is jammed.
Kindly help Its a new Xperia Z1, which I have bought just a month back.:smileyconfused::smileysad:

Press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > connect it to a wall charger > let it charge for 2 hours then repair it with PCC

You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion. The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.
Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).
Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

You can also try to downgrade without data loss.

Please Help.
I am also running into same situation.
I only see network bars, battery percentage and time on status bar. And nothing else. No touch, no display, only black screen. Power button seem to be working.
I tried connecting PCC, but it says that either input the SIM, or PIN, or make the device unlocked. I am sure its unlocked. If I press power button multiple times quickly, I see screen flashes showing that its at language selection page, but then it goes blank. PCC not working. Recovery mode also not working. I cant get to recovery mode using Power button and Vol up/down to factory reset the phone.
What can I do?
