Xperia Z1 micro sd card

Hey I just found my old 16GB micro sd card which was free when I bought the xperia play. I don't know how I get more gb space from the Xperia Z1 if I instert it in. How do I do it?

That's what I did but when I plug in my usb to the comp it shows the normal GB storage from the xperia z1 not from my micro.

I'm gonna try turning off the phone and on

It could be an issue with the SD card,maybe you should format it before.

Nvm i fixed my own problem lol xD I just had to restart the phone

Do you have a micro sd adapter for your pc?If not,try settings-storage and see if the SD card shows there.
