Hey guys i am disgusted with the Z1 fake waterproof advertising....I was so excited for the xperia z1 to come out and purchased it at its release only to have it completely not working after properly tested water capabilty 100% to user mannual. My service provider mtn refused to take any responsiblity and regarded me as a "negligiant user" along with sony repairs which is extremely unethical and unfair. I am still paying the contract for the phone i dont even have! no one wants to take responsibilty for this because all the want is our money and several people i know have the same problem by being manipulated by sonys advert for xperia z1. My lawyers are now handling this case as someone has to do something to fight for those that have been robbed greatly by this phone. Also the attitude of mtn and the xperia south africa are unhelpful and just blame the customer. I hope to receive some sort of joy from the case as this phone caused EXTREME hearache and dissapointment, wasted money, unfair customer treatment to my entire family. This phone must be taken off the market to prevent others from experiencing this trauma. Sony hides behind statements in user manual that dont even prove anything just to save their reputation and PROFIT! I have pleaded so much and been patient for a year but have never gotten any favourable response from mtn or sony! Please dont buy this phone and stress yourselves>
