Xperia Z1 Compact Phone does not switch on

I am having Sony Xperia Z1 Compact device. Recently I came across situation where the phone does not start.

When I power button to switch it on then it starts with Sony Screen then splash screen. Then as soon as home screen displayed a message comes that phone is switching off and then it switched off.

During the time the home screen displayed, I can see battery level as 35%.

The phone was working perfectly well, then next morning I found it switched off.

In order to start the phone, I've gone through different forum links on sonymobile:

* Tried charting phone for 2-3 hours in switched off condition via wall charger

* Tried pressing power and volum up key together for 3-5 seconds. It vibrates phone for 3 times and then does nothing.

Can anyone help me out on this? How to switch on and make it working?

I think you'll have to perform a phone software repair, but sadly thgis will erase everything on your internal memory (will not affect SD card tho).

Leave the phone on charger for 2-3 hours -> Open PC companion -> Support zone -> Phone/tablet software update -> Repair my phone/tablet (blue link style). Follow the steps given, do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable.

Slightly_frowning_Face There is no other way which will keep my data and switch on the phone? I am expecting that way. Because the maintaining data is must for me. Especially image and video gallary.

In case if we go for software repair way, will it be possible to recover data using any data recovery software?

Thanks

There is an alternate method but a bit tricky, use flashtool http://www.flashtool.net/downloads.php

This software is for flashing Sony devices. And you will also required official ftf file, so use Xperifirm (Google search for this) and download and create ftf file for your device. Note that when you flash ftf file there is an option to not to wipe data which will help you keep your data and still make your phone working.
