Xperia Z1 Compact Charging Problem

Since yesterday I noticed that my mobile phone doesn't start charging when plugged in to the power outlet via USB port. The red notification light doesn't come on as well. Yesterday I turned it off and it started chatting after I restarted the phone. Today it didn't.

I plugged my phone into the docking station and it could get charge. The red notification light also came on.

What do I need to do to restore the ability to get the USB port for charging?

since 4 days i am the owner of an xperia z1 compact . i love the phone but have one problem : my phone doesn't charge with the original charging cable which came with the phone. It seems like it only starts charging with the battery is lower than 10% ! It should be possible to charge the phone before that low status, shouldnt it?
