Xperia z1 charging time

hi guys

recently updated my z1 to the latest software, now i seem to be having trouble with charging using USB. prior to updating i could plug in my z1 through usb at say 12am with battery at 4% and come 7 am it would be at 100%, now however since updating i plug the phone it and come 7am charge is only reaching 30-40% from 4-15%.

Does anyone else have this issue or know of it and is there a fix?

Do you charge your phone while it's turned on or off?

Try to force restart your device(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates).See how it behaves.
