Xperia Z1 camera issue

Guys,

I am experiencing worst camera. I got this mobile after careful reviewing of all stuffs. From day1 i am not at all satisfied with the camera. They say is 20MP, reality its not. All my pictures are dull and blurred. Is there anyway i can optimize this issue, Please help me guys.

TOday i took two pics, one with my z1 and another one with Samsung Galaxy note 2. Note 2 is just 8MP but takes sharper clearer pics. But pic taken in z1 is not at all sharp. Its looks worse. I've attached those. Kindly review and confirm whether camera is a defective one. Those pics are taken in bright sun light. 

Help me to fix this.

I took the same picture and dis wat u just said. 

After setting vibrant, pic looks like same as taken in note 2.

But sharpness is clearly lagging. The leaves looks blurred once i zoom it. 

For me Galaxy Note 2 wins in camera.

Sorry I haven't published any Z1 vs Note II pictures as I said I would; the weather here isn't playing ball and my Z1 is having battery life issues!  I will once I get the Z1 sorted, and the UK weather decides it's Spring....

Looks like the bottom one is best here!

Like others have suggested make sure the lens is clean - most people dont!

I am just having problems with overheating just now.

see gsmarena one of the best reviewer has proved my point look at z1 vs z2 both pictures at 20.7 and superior auto have grain present in them so this is for sure is a software problem but z2 looks little polished software over z1 since both have same hardware ........now people who say they dont have grainy pictures in low light are blind

its true z1 z1c and z2 has superior hardware than nokia lumia 1520 but because of software it cannot beat 1520 hope sony release a new firmware so that sony phones canbe kings again

Seriously, the camera is not better than other Xperia phone, that's sad

I've taked 2 pictures, one with my old Xperia Ray, and One with the Z1

The first is the one of the Ray (8MP) and the second is the Z1 with the auto mode (8MP) , and of course, the coulours of the ray are more bad than the Z1, but the ray take a really better photo, it's possible to read the text "High quality" on the white box, but it's impossible with the Z1.

And, the result of the text on the MS Pro duo is really better on the Ray too

The result with the 20MP of the Z1 is the same than the auto mode

Explain this I have lumia 1520 has an inferior hardware vs Xperia z1 but takes way superior pictures in darkness no grain whatsoever so why sony Xperia z1 takes inferior pics in low light and darkness and night 🌃 when it has superior hardware the answer is simple software is not optimized properly anyone would agree with it don't tell me you guys don't see grain and roughness 😁
