Hi,
I just found there is no call-waiting notification beep/ sound when 2nd voicecall incoming... .... and this caused few inportant call missed....
I have checked my Z1 and have call-waiting activated....
Do you have samilar problem and please tell me how to fix it...
You don't get the other call at all or you don't get the notification that you have another call ?
Actually, when 2nd call incoming, there is on screen notification, but my Z1 don't have notificaiton sound/ beep.
During the primary call , I can't see my Z1 monitor and there is no notification sound/ beep. I don't know 2nd call is waiting and hence I missed some important calls..
I tried this here but i get beep sounds when i have a 2:nd incoming call. Which firmware version do you have (Settings -> About phone) and are you using any headset or similar?

The software running on my Z1 is Build 14.1G.1.534.

I use the Z1 builtin earpiece / micrphone only. I don't use headset/ BT beahset.

I have tested this on a few units and with different operators but i always get a notification sound when there's a second incoming call.
Try starting your phone in safe mode to make sure it's not caused by a 3:rd party app: http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/FAQ/How-to-boot-your-phone-into-safe-mode/m-p/348008.
If this also happens in safe mode, try making a repair of the phones software using PC Companion: http://www.sonymobile.com/se/tools/pc-companion/ but please note that this will reset your phone.
everywere on forum on support mail, chat they put u reinstal android, PLEASE WE ARE NOT IDIOTS this phone has serious problems, stop hiding SONY a do something
bobdinro... we know there are issues with the phone, but if everyone has no issues with their notification, what else can be the problem.. do think about it for a second that it could be an isolated issue for the particular user. Dont just jump on the bandwagon to crucify the company...
We all know there are issues.. so lets wait to see if they are resolved.. if not we can file a class action down the road.
