Hi,

I got my Xperia Z1 back cover cracked 

How much will it cost a new one? and after repair, will it stay waterproof??

The only way to keep your phone waterproof is to have it repaired by a Sony service centre - As for a price you would need to contact them via this link http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/support/contact-us/ or choose your own country for specific details

I have checked with the certified dealer here and they said it will not be a waterproof anymore and this is gonna cost around USD 210 for a piece of glass and adhesives.. I am kinda disappointed I paid a lot for the device and for a small crack it is not going to be back the same way it was.. Is there any place I can ship the phone to for repair and they ship back to me?? If it is cheaper outside and gonna cost the same with shipping I would rather to have it done outside with the feature to stay waterproof.

any ideas please?

As far as I'm aware a Service centre should be able to perform something called a pressure test which tests for vacum meaning no leaks or any gaps in which water can pass through - I'd check that this can be performed
