Improves Camera, Display Calibration, Power Consumption, Automatic Reboot issue, Wi-Fi range improves, Optimized Backlight option is ON everytime.

Confirmed on both C6902/3.

Confirmed in Veitnam, France.

1. Camera Algorithm Tweaked – Batter Camera Pics now as per Sony’s statement.
2. Xperia Camera app runs more smoothly.
3. Display is calibrated, need to see whether yellow hue tint issue on Xperia Z1 is resolved or not.
4. Batter power consumption now.
5. Exchange sync more better now.

[ UPDATE 18 Oct ] 14.1.G.2.257 firmware CONFIRMED in India on C6902.

If you haven't got it yetm you can update manually by flashing the ftf files.

Yup, got the latest firmware in India using Sony PC Companion. Hope the black/dead screen issue is solved in this one...

Does anyone know what the SUS(Sony Update Service) does? and what effect will it have on my Z1 if it is already updated to the latest firmware 2.257. 

Note: Only reason I want to try SUS is to solve a black screen bug...

Seems like the rollout for th Z Ultra currently is only for the HSPA+ phones so i would imagine the Z1 being simmilar ...unless you have the version with unlocked boot loader which wouldn't be the case if you receiver the phone from a carrier. The article states that the LTE version will be pushed out soon, so Australia would only be receiving the LTE version. I've just updated in the UK using Sony Bridge for Mac. C6903 version.

So far so good.. need to play around with the camera and see how the battery gets on today etc.

Check with PCC, if not on PCC then wait for couple of days, sure it will hit.
