Xperia Z will not start

Dear fellow Sony users,

I have a problem with my Xperia Z, yesterday when my battery died I tried to reboot it and I got a strange screen.

It shows a triangle with a ''install'' sign and below that a blue bar that is loading...

I have tried to wait but my phone becomes pretty hot and does not continue;nothing else happens.. It only shuts down when the battery is dead...

I have tried to reset my phone by pressing the power button and the volume up button at the same time, when I do this the phone shuts down and it shows the name sony and then the same problem appears...

I have also tried to reset my phone by the computer but because the phone is not active my computer does not recognize it

Maybe someone has got the same problem, or a similar problem and can help me out??

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Floris

Here you can see the problem, hopefully this will make things more clear.

Mmm.. No one with the same problem??

Because my problem has evolved, I got rid of the weird sign and now when my xperia Z is trying to start up it starts good with: Sony and than: Xperia

After that I got the familiar sony ''colored wave'' and after two times a complete wave my phone stops and starts over again and again...

Is there any way to reset the complete phone or something?

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Floris

I've seen that screen before on the Lt26i (Xperia S) not on the Xperia Z yet

Theres two things that might be happening, Software may need to be reflashed. You will need a Windows Computer to run this program (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/)

or

The Battery is really flat and the phone cannot boot properly.

Do this first

To turn it off hold the Volume UP and Power button, it will vibrate once keep holding it then it will vibrate another 3 times in a row. Now its off. Try to charge the battery first if that dont help then reflash, once its done leave it off and then charge it, hopefully it boots
