xperia z touch screen not working after dipping in water

Hi guys!

I was with my friends having a good time swimming in the pool and i have xperia z which is a waterproof, i tried to use it and it was great. then after using the touch screen doesn't respond anymore. the unit is all fine working except for the touch screen. I'm looking for a fast reply... thanks!

Check your mobile for water damage, open all flaps and check indicators. If its pink or red that means you are effected.

If water damage through flap open will not cover under warranty.

Anyhow you need to take your phone to nearby Sony service centre.

I have had the same problem with my phone, please reply screen turns on however i cannot unlock my phone to access it, nor can i power off the phone. DRAMA!

it's not waterproof but it's water resistance it can be in 1 meter water i think it was for max 30 mins but it's not waterproof.
