Hi There.
I am planning on updating my Galaxy S3 to the Xperia Z. But i have heard of a software updates that improved some features of the phone.
May i ask:
1. What or where can i find the official change log or update information for the Xperia Z?
2. Is the Xperia Z LTE-ready/capable? (This is the UK/EU version)
3. Does the update improve some aspects of the loudspeaker (being weak and soft) and the volume when headphones are connected? (These has been an issue with the phones ever since).
And any improvements to the general sound & audio settings (and EQ) on the Walkman player?
Please advoce
1. sony doesn't release/publish this info
2. C6603 LTE 800 / 850 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600
3. I haven't seen/hear any of this improvements if any, seems the same.
if you want a phone that plays music on it's own without the need to connect to external sound system then the EZ is not for you, I believe the HTC one offers the best solution for this, but to be honest is probably not how I would want to listen to music anyway - most people have a base station or similar so it doesn't really matter how the sound plays from the phone, personally over a long history with mobile phones this has never been something I was interested in - now if your question was a general one about the music abilities of the EZ then I would say it is extremely good in clarity and sound quality when connected to and external output device including earphones
PS - the supplied earphones are cheap and nasty - very poor, which is something that Sony could have improved on
As regards the speaker sound quality I am merely saying that based on trying the phone in store and on reviews I read the speakers sound seem muffled (as if you are covering your mouth whilst talking to someone) and when headphones are connected the volume seems not too loud enough. Is Sony aware of this or is refusing to be aware of the problem?
Also is the "253" available widely to all UK Xperia Z phones? Been reading about complaints that it's not. This is misinformation and inconsistency on the part of Sony don't you think?
