Xperia Z pairing with my pc via Wi-Fi

Hello,

I have a problem with pairing my smartphone with my computer by using sony pc companion. My smartphone is C6603 Sony Xperia Z and my computer is Asus K52jr with Windows 7 Home premium.

Firstly, i thought reason of problem is windows firewall or anti-virus program. Then i uninstalled antivirus and close the firewall but same problem continues.

I am doing the steps that explained in this video by sony but whenever i am at "pairing" part pc companion program freezes and said " Pc companion can not connected to to phone" but i saw "pair or not" menu on my phone screen.

I saw my pc's name on trusted devices list but it vanishes when i try to connect.

Please help me how can i solve this problem and pair my pc with my smartphone.

Note : Both devices connected to same wi-fi point.I also tried connect pc with using network cable with open wi-fi.

Thank you for reading.

Could you please try doing this and then dump the logs from PCC to desktop?

You do that by right clicking the systray icon for PCC and select About PC Companion.
Here select dump logs to desktop.

Then upload these to a site of your choice and I will download them and forward them.

I'm struggling too - says I'm already paired and suggests I unpair and start again, but I've no idea how to do this - can you help?

Xperia Z1 compact,  Windows 7

Just want to put this out there as I had this problem with the pairing seeming to work but then saying 'failed' after attempting to connect. For me it turned out that it was due to having IPv6 disabled on my computer. I re-enabled this in my network settings and the pairing finally connected! Phew...

Hope this info may help someone.
