Xperia Z not booting, broken lcd

is Xperia Z designed to not-boot on battery if the LCD is cracked? my xperia z fell and the lcd broke, but the fact is that it doesn't boot.

if i connect it to pc it will inmediately turn on in fastboot mode, i could also enter flash mode,

i;ve tried SUS and PCC, no luck, the phone is STOCK .244, i dont think there's water damage in the phone.

battery is fully charged and last long days without connecting to a charger, if i connect to wall charger lcd turns on and when the green led turns on, screen dims and then off. buttons dont turn on the lcd. (the phone is not booted)

i have managed to boot it a few times using "fastboot continue" command, but it dont always work.

so back to my question:

is Xperia Z designed to not-boot on battery if the LCD is cracked? or is it something else?

you can find out if there's water damage, just open all the flaps and look for white rectangles, one per flap, if its any other color other than white there's water damage.

you will need to take it to a Sony repair center

mmm, no way! the phone's warranty is void, they would charge me a lot and i dont think they will repair it in my country. so, thats why i wanted to know what happened to attempt repair myself, i ordered the lcd for repairing it myself. but i wanted to be sure if just replacing the lcd would fix the problem

No one can answer that question, as the only way to find out is when you open the phone and/or replace the LCD

As above I can only advise to send it for assessment by an authorised repair agent. However if the phone will not boot it sounds like the damage may have extended to the main board of the phone and not just the screen.

UPDATE,

i installed the LCD, i was able to boot the phone, seems the NON BOOTING issue is because the Volume Up Button is always pressed

in the service test menu, neither the power button nor the volume up button seems to work.

i cant lock the screen, and if it gets locked, i have to unlock it via plugging the USB cable or unpluging it.

the cool part: it works (im saved) the bad part, i need to fix this.

i think with this fixed, it will be 100% OK.

any ideas on how to fix this buttons?

Is the button physically stuck down ? If not, then the problem could be (as was mentioned earlier) due to damage to the main board).
Also be wary where you buy spares for your xperia. I would imagine the screen alone to be quite expensive. I have seen a very clever and hard to tell fake samsung screen, which was not gorilla glass but cheaper material. Just be careful, unless it's from an authorised supplier.
