xperia z memory ram

The phone says it has 1.77Gb (RAM) not 2Gb (ram).

why?

It is natural. Because of some ram grabs by the os (android) to run smoothly. Dont worry I have Xperia SP , L , Z Ultra , and M (dual) xperia L gives me only 786 MB of ram but is has 1 GB ram. So dont worry about it.
