Xperia Z should have 16 GB of internal storage; it's possible my phone has 11,73 GB instead of 16 GB?
part of the internal storage its for Android, just like when you buy a new hard drive or flashdrive you don't get all the GB that are advertised

The phone also has 2 GB of RAM, which I assume is written to internal storage when the phone it swithced off, so that it can restore all the state when turned on again. Those 2GB of course have to be reserved and cannot be used for anything else.
not at all, RAM it is NOT internal storage.

That's what I said. RAM is *copied to* internal storage. I presume.
