Xperia Z & Android 4.2.2 - when & what will be updated ?

Is there any information when the update will be released ? I have found on some web that update is going to be done at the end of the March. Is this date valid ?

Additionally - is there any information what will be updated ?

One of the most important things about Smartphones is the ability of the company to update its smartphone faster than the competitors.....LG lost me as a customer for this reason....I hope Sony doesn't make the same mistake....Samsung took a lot of market share with good devices but also with Support...S2 is still updating for example......I think that if Sony doesn't follow up with this strategy will learn from this mistake in the future....

im also waiting for the 4.2.2 update but i think sony was waiting fot the new samsung galaxy s4 to come out, before launching there new update. waiting fot the update because: trouble with my led indicator, and so far.. the software on the galaxy s3 was beter then the sony version on the xperia z, so i also hope that the long waiting is worth the trouble

this is my opinion, I think Sony will make announcements in regards to 4.2 for the Xperia Z once they announce when the other 2012 Xperias will  get or once they start rolling out the update (to rest of the 2012 Xperias)

I got my Xperia Z 3 weeks ago, hoping that Sony would have released the update they promised would be released "shortly" after the launch of the device. Well I want to know what is Sony doing? and where is my update? Ive always been a Samsung fan having owned the Original Galaxy S, S2, S3 and then decided to give Sony a chance, so far im enjoying the Xperia Z, but would love the update already.

I agree, I just need some bugs fixing, like the wifi disrupts, camera enhacements....

Yesterday I was trying a S4 and I have to say that I rather prefer our Z

Go to Xperia blog site..They've uploaded screenshots of the z running on official 4.2 jelly bean. You should all receive the upgrade soon!
