Unfortanly i found a problem after upgrading my xperia x10 to android 2.3.3 that annoying glitch that is an annoying sound stuttering when playing song
so, if any one faced this problem and found a soultion i'll be glad to know it ....
Hi, you may want to try an alternate music player. I noticed some recommended Winamp and TuneWiki, both are free from Android Market. Keep us updated.
thanks for your co-operation but it seems that problem still exists...isn't applicable that sony ericsson release a new patch that fix that annoying problem because it seems many users facing the same one.
I have no info on that, hopefully, there will be a minor update to fix this issue.
I'm also facing these kinds of problem since i've updated to 2.3.3... I already tried with many music applications but it can't help.. still happing these annoying sounds...
I'm afraid I'm having the exact same issue since the upgrade to 2.3.3. Small skips and glitches as an MP3 file plays.
I've tried closing all none essential apps and functions to see if it was a Ram issue but no change. I also tried a different SD Card with different mp3 files to see if that helped, but same issues, so it looks like this is deffinitely a problem with the music player installed with the X10 2.3.3 upgrade, or, if it's happening with all music players on the X10, perhas the MP3 codecs being used in Android 2.3.3?
I have tried to replicate this issue using the same model and firmware version however I have not been able to recreate this issue. With this being the case I would advise running a repair via PC Companion to reload the firmware. It may also be worthwhile backing up and formatting the memory card just to be on the safe side, though I am confident that the repair should resolve the issue.
Before you use Update Service

I was dubious that full re-install of the OS was going to work, given that a dodgy upgrade installation is likely to affect more than just this small aspect of a single running service (IE, the media player) but tried it anyway. Unfortunately, it hasn't worked... if anything the stuttering in the media player is now worse, and this is with a different sd card on a completely fresh install of 2.3.3 with no other apps installed or settings changes made. With other people experiencing the same thing, it looks like it's just the media player in the SE release of 2.3.3 for the X10 is buggy.
And with no other updates due for the X10 I presume this means we're stuck without music? Anyone recommend a good 3rd party app? (I've heard some of them skip as well, so again, MP3 codecs in the OS could be to blame?)
Right I'm off to spend a good few hours getting the phone back to how it should be after the re-install. Sigh.
