Xperia x10 mini automatically switched off while inserting SIM Card

I have xperia x10 mini with android 2.1 update 1 . the problem with my phone is when i insert my SIM card then it automatically swithed off without any warning when running on battery, but works fine without SIM card, But when connected to wall charger or through USB in PC., phone works fine without any problem... the problem is only when running on battery. Another problem is when running on battery , as i open camera and take any snap then also it automatically swithed off withot warning no matter whether SIM card inserted or not.

Steps taken by me for solve this problem:

* Changed SIM card (tried with 5-6 different SIM cards).............RESULT: NO SUCCESS

* Update Software using Sony Ericsson Update Service ( Almost 10 times)............RESULT: STILL NO SUCCESS.

* Try to Remove Battery 5-6 times...........RESULT: NO SUCCESS

* Try to full charge Battery and let it completely Drain out almost 7-8 times..............RESULT: STILL NO SUCCESS.

Please suggest me the Proper Solution as i love my phone very much.

have you try a brand new SIM card?

i have tried every possible solution but no luck.. On charger SIM card works fine, it create problems only when running on battery.

it might be a hardware issue, you should take it to a sony repair center

is there any service menu to check all hardware funtioning properly or not?

I also have that same problem, any suggestion to overcome that, and then what's the result after approaching Sony center, what's the problem in phone
