Xperia X Discharging faster than Charging

Ive recently upgraded from a Z2 (Fantastic phone, couldnt fault it.) to an Xperia X, and when im not using the supplied wall charger, the phone discharges faster than it charges. 

This is a problem as the phone drains battery so quickly, if im in the car, i cannot charge the phone, unlike my z2. Does anyone have any recomnmendations or solutions? I cant provide any photos at the current moment, as the thing has died.

Get a different car charger, this will happen if you are using the phone and playing heavy games and/or streaming something.

Also go to settings > battery > tap on the battery icon > check what's draining the battery

Thanks for responding. In the car i use spotify with offline playlists, my journey is relatively short (15 mins) although i tend to spend a bit of time on forums when im not busy. I had the adaptive brightness switched on (now off) and my wifi is usually always on.

In regards to chargers, the only chargers that work without discharging are the cable connected to my playstation 4, and the supplied quick charger. Is it a case of Sony cables only? as i thought all micro USB cables use the same wire inside

Are you connecting the phone directly to your car or a car charger? 

Go to settings > battery > tap on the battery icon > what do you see on the list

keeping WiFi on all the time will drain your battery faster but perhaps the car charger output it's way too low
