I have a problem after replaceing the screen. The problem is about the screen which shuts off during the call and its impossible to cancel the call. I read about it over the net and thought maybe the proximity sensor should be calibrated. I tried to enter the code to get to the service menu but it didn't let me.
Does anyone know if the Sony service menu work for the Xperia V(lt25)? Does anyone have a suggestion what to try to fix the problem?
I had the same problem with one of the firmware updates. But it was fixed later and everything solves by itself. If you have not the latest SW version try updating the phone.
Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
Unfortunately it is not possible to calibrate the proximity sensor by yourself, you have to send the phone to a service center to have your phone examined for that part. However, you can test the proximity sensor if you open the service menu > service test > proximity sensor. Does it work as it should in this menu?
Also make sure that you have the latest software update as suggested above:
