Xperia V screen durability.

Is there anyone here who didn't put a scratch proof screen protector over his anti-shatter sheet and has had his phone for more than 6months? I want to know how the screen is now. I don't like the feel of screen protectors but I don't like scratch filled screens even more. Thank you.

Its all about how you handle your phone, if you keep it away from keys, coins, etc it shouldn't be scratched

Thank you. I don't keep my phone around keys and coins but what about the scratches from typing and swiping and the likes. Do you think I'll be fine?

also do you have an extra screen protector on yours?

I don't have the Xperia V but I do have the Xperia T, Z, etc which have a similar if not the same ASF (anti-shatter film) even previous Xperias like my Arc or X10, its just plastic and after a year or so you will notice small scratches here and there, which is normal, but you should apply a scratch resistant either film or glass

Thanks. Problem is I live in Nigeria. There are no scratch resistant screen protectors here so I'll have to make do till the next time Im in the US.

You might want to consider a tempered glass screen protector rather than a plastic film

Okay. I'll ask for one when I go out in a bit.
