When I connect my Xperia U with PC PCC says it has a update 6.0.B.3.162. But when I try to update every time it fails with following error. Please see attached image. Please help me out this.

Hey guys its updating without any issues.Today i connected my xperia u to pc and launched sony pc companion then clicked the update thats it friends.no issues at all

I am right in the middle of updating my Xperia U and faced some issues earlier so I thought I will update the forum. I was getting an error - 'unable to update phone software' and I took the following actions to get it working,

1. Checked if Java was updated - mine was

2. Unloaded my antivirus

3. Disabled Windows Firewall (local machine + private networks + public networks)

... and it worked like a breeze. It is updating my phone now.

The same happened with me last night when i was updating my Xperia U; and i was using the Pc companion at first; but then the errors kept repeating and the phone became UNUSABLE
