Xperia U Loads of Issues

I bought this mobile year back in Australia.

After upgrading to ICS the mobile is very slow and less responsive.

Camera - Lagging and taking long time to click

WIFI - Loosing connection frequently

Mobile Reception - Not good either

Overall the mobile hangs alot which is very frustrating for an user.

Long back Sony released an update to fix all these issues post ICS upgrade but unfortunately till date it hasnt been released for Australia.

Sony advices for Phone repair option using PCC..

I did twice not much help.

I guess Gingerbread was a good option.

Sony team its very disappointing. You produce a good mobile but not providing good services. Its a shame

i updated my xperia u to ICS 2 days back and i dont have any issues...

did u do a factory reset after ICS update cos if u dont do that then ur phone will not be optimized for ICS...

I didnt do a factory reset, its too much work setting up everything, just a soft settings reset and it works fine. Just use the proper apps and dont install heavy apps, Xperia U is an entry range phone, dont pressurize it with too much...:P

Best sw version for XU is old 6.0.B.1.564

people downgrading back to 6.0.B.1.564

And yes i've reverted back to GB 1.564 too. ICS is all the eye candy one can get but without the stability expected from a dual core phone.. zeesh.. GB worked (and even now works) like a charm...

Btw its your phone and you should better whats d best for it
