xperia u ics camera slow

the camera in my xperia u takes 10 seconds to click a picture.takes a lot of time to focus in ics.plz help

which settings are you using?

I have the same issue. Camera gets slow when I went to dark area.

i am using auto scene recognition and auto flash at 5 megapixel

Same here...the quick launch is also very slow...makes it absolutely pointless...sometime its faster to unlock then launch from menu..

I keep getting "memory error" when i take pics so photo couldnt save....have to reopen camera and HOPE for it to work. Tried Sony repair....no difference so annoying that u want to capture something but the moment is gone by the time the camera is up and running

mine xperia u camera has also slowed down after ics update......it take upto 6to7 seconds to focus and than clicks the picture.....than what is the use of quick launch.....

Mine 2 seconds. It doesn't matter if I run it through shutter button or icon

Rado77 u use ics or gingerbread....when my phone was running gingerbread it took photos in less than 2 secong but after ics update it's camera slowed down..........

Even mine has same issue and also my phone is soo slow and takes ages to attend/receive calls, messages, especially navigating through the menus and google maps. i have done hard reset twice and restarted phone many times but nothing is happening....someone help me plz all these happened after ICS update
