Xperia U for Kitkat

Is Xperia U getting an update to android 4.4 (KitKat)??

I've heard that kitkat is developed to support low ram mobiles, typically 512 mb or less..

It would be a very nice update for the wee-old and buggy ICS.

Xperia U-

Gingerbread worked as smooth as teflon. But, ICS, even calling up someone or picking up a call while playing something such as Candy Crush is a pain.

Xperia U will not get KitKat as Qualcom pulled support for the chip used in many of the 2012 device

The only way you could have the latest Rom is to root your device and install a custom Rom from XDA
