Xperia U extremely low RAM problem (less than 30mb free at a time)

Ever since upgrading to ICS my xperia u has had low ram problem, I have at most 30mb free at a time. Not even rooting helped with the ram issue? It ran fine initially but became extremely slow over a few days and now its barely usable! 

I'm barely running any apps and I've cleared most of my memory, still nothing? Surely this can't be normal?

How do I sort this out? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Try to force close apps you do not use and restart the phone every 1-2 days.

I strongly recommended that you restart you phone everyday  
Also, delete the app that you rarely use or never use
